anyone else using the 4.5 OS? I installed this morning and it was running a little slow until i did a battery pull but its as fast as ever now. Just wanted to know if anyone has had any problems with this beta...

"this" beta has about 100 different release flavors. You might try asking a more direct question.

But yes, many users have had a multitude of problems with this generic 4.5 OS beta.

Yeah, please give us some more info. I'm gonna assume since you're on T-Mo that it's the 8320? If so then are you running .10, .18, or .37?

.10 had terrible memory leaks
.18 was better
.37 is supposed to be much better

I am currently running .18 and I haven't rebooted 127014 seconds.. (Little over 35 hours) Memory shows 10MB free and a fresh reboot will get me about 12. I don't notice slowdowns until I am around 6MB free.

My BB normally runs in the 10-15MB free range and I've never had trouble.

.37 gives no UMA. There are lots of threads about this and the other betas.
