I don't know about the 8330 but I have a new 8320, less than 2 weeks old, and it has less memory than my backup Pearl.

I've deleted lots of stuff, as prescribed in the insufficient memory link, but I know I've got to get a media card and remove the photos and ringtones currently on my phone. I also need a media card because I'd like to take photos, create videos and add music, but there's no way I can do any of that with the 8320's tiny memory. Now I just read here that the 8320 has memory leaks.

I think so. What I found from a quick google:

8320: 64MB

8330: 96MB

Somebody in this thread doesn't know what they're talking about (it could be me)....

Sure enough, 96MB in the 8330. That should put me at a 32MB disadvantage right there. I can't really complain about losing data or anything. My Curive seems to run ok, I just wish I had more space for 3rd party apps.
