I like my Bold, and I like the 3G, and I'm not big on the touchscreen concept either. I agree, a Blackberry should have a keyboard.

I also HAD a Blackberry with Verizon, but I'm fed up with them crippling the phone's hardware... no Wifi, no GPS. It's just plain dumb, and I think they're shooting themselves in the foot by doing that.
Two different phones. "Magnum" is now the Dakota 9220. And "Pluto" is 9900.

I don't get the idea of RIM changing the Magnum's name to Dakota. Magnum sounds more appealing and catchy compared to a girly name like Dakota. Anyways, the Pluto is kinda cool but it looks pretty much like an upgraded Bold if you ask me.

I am hoping for a slide/split with touch screen like the Google Phone.

Look at the way they release new devices, sometimes they are a new form factor, but they also update existing ones as well, so an updated Bold at some point is only to be expected since its a popular form factor.
