Open browser.
menu - go to
go to wherever you want your homepage to be.
once loaded click menu - options
general
Go down to the bottom where it has a "use current page" button for homepage.

Thanks for your help Midnight and all works well until "Go down to the bottom where it has a "use current page" button for homepage" There is no "use current page option". Sorry to be a bother but do you have any further advice?

What do you see?
There is stuff at the bottom (usually) about homepage.

Go to browser press the menu button and go to options>browser configuration, scroll to the bottom and type in the URL you would like your homepage to be.

did you get the bb internet service applied? did you see the blackberry splash screen when you started the browser?

i think when you have BIS enabled, in the browser options you can choose to run it as the bb browser. it might be called something else though, but it will be there (mine is called web&walk browser - i also have t-mobile browser & hotspot browser... go figure)

if so, you can even copy a page address & paste it in the homescreen edit field.
