Hi everyone and thanks in advance for your help.

I have an unlocked Pearl and I arrived in Beijing and bought a SIM card from China Mobile which is supposed to have 50 yuans worth of minutes on it, which should last for a while.

I payed the 75 yuans that were asked from me but when I made my first phone call to Canada (+1-514), halfway through the calls I heard some low beeping noises and then after 5 minutes the call stopped.

When I tried calling again, there was an automated message telling me that my balance was 0 yuan, which is impossible since I had just bought a SIM card with 75 yuan.

All of my friends bought the same SIM card but have dumbphones and they have no problem.

Now anyone who's been to China will understand my situation. English language does not exist here...

Could anyone help me out ? I'm kinda lost
