Interesting that we both created brushed metal themes. I had done one last week as a spin-off of some simple metal backgrounds I made but took some extra time to make & tweak new button icons and menu and banner backgrounds after learning the tiling method they implemented.
In the end I'm finding the Plazmic package currently too constrictive in not allowing us to re-position indicators, change *all* backgrounds (like the "Change Option" backgrounds), all dialog box indicators, text, etc. I'm sure more features will be added in time but the current package does not allow much creativity.

I noticed that after I posted my reply...I guess great minds think alike!
I agree with you 100% on the Plazmic thing. I would be happy if they would even release other templates to start with, that way there's at least a choice as to where to start. Trying to design around the in-place indicators is tough.

Please make a "medical" theme for folks who use the BB and are in the medical field.
I am a physician and proud to use a BB.

Thanks for the comments, I'm glad you like it.

Do you mean the font in the Calendar application is not what you want?
If that's the question, there is no way to change it. I've also tried changing the other fonts for list titles, etc. but the 8700 ignores it and uses the default.
Let me know if that is what you are asking because maybe there is something that can be fixed if its not the Calendar.

srl7741,
I think you have been doing a fantastic job, creating these themes, especially on request, and I am sure they are greatly appreciated. I applaud you for your effort. Just one quick question, I notice that you haven't played around much with the Dialog and menu backgrounds. Is there a specific reason for this?
Thanks for your efforts.

Thankyou, The dialog and menus i have played with and have 8 complete sets of different textures/colors (light to dark). The reason i have not changed them is due to the over all look it creates and i've been afraid most (viewers) would not like the theme. So to answer your question i've tried to keep themes appealing to the mass(s). If someone requests a certain scheme i will be happy to try/make. It's also work in progress to a certain point and my time off work is coming to an end. In another week or so i will slow down due to time. Those features you asked about i have on my own themes and i'm finding after a few days i don't care for as much as the default. Those changes make a dramatic change to the overall appearance. If i had a site to post on i may take more time to customize each of those but for now i don't have the time to set up another web site.
I'm having fun and like helping those who come to these forums looking for assistance.
I hope you understand? Thanks for the kind words. These forums are a great place to go for help or better yet help others.

I understand totally, and was just amazed at your work. I have played around a little with the themes also and find the default dialog and menu a little too bland. I haven't posted my themes yet as I make theme personal, or they are made for specific persons in mind. I don't have the artistic ability nor the time to make themes on request, so haven't posted any. I think I will this time as a sample. This is one that I am in the process of developing, possible for some friends in the Field Artillery. It is not complete but here are some shots of the work in progress.
Well I was going to upload them but I keep getting a Page cannot be displayed. I guess I'll try later
Thanks again
Rcbjr
Finally got the upload working.

As geeky as this may sound how about a request for a super hero theme? All the icons can be like Superman, Batman, Spiderman, Fantastic 4, etc...

Please take a look at these. The background is an original made in Photoshop and the only difference in the two is the tilt of the Caduceus. Otherwise, one has orange dialog box attributes and the other has the normal blue.

I have a 7130 and I'm feeling a bit left out here - all you 7100i and 8700 folks are have a blast with all these themes.
I do want to thank whsbuss for a couple of cool themes he sent me!
However, I've got a jpg I'd like to ask if someone can create a theme from for my 7130e - if someone can help me, please pm me and I'll send the jpg file to them.
Please, even pretty please!
Steve
