Well, while we are on the subject--I saw a lady in my store with a complete cover for her pearl, it was a white sort of opaque, but the thing that grabbed my attention was that the cover also had the keypad on the front of it.....anybody know anything about that?

Default Practical Case

I prefer the Krusell Cabriolet model. The belt clip is optional and can be taken on or off at any time. It is also universal with any of their other cases.

It is a snug leather case with plastic shield over the screen. You can easily read through the plastic. Just clean it every so often.

It may make the phone look a bit less stylish and bulky, however any time that I have dropped the phone, it was well protected.

I used it for my 8100 Pearl. I have now traded my 8100 in for the 8130 and I am awaiting confirmation that the Krusell case is in fact updated for the 8130. Although the phone will fit in the 8100 case, the side buttons do not align properly through the case for the new model phone.

i purchased the leather case from rogers and it works great. the belt clip gets in the way at times especially when driving or sitting down but the leather slip cover works like a charm for me

it has the magnet to activate the "auto standby" as well

i would highly recommend it

Okay,

Rather than creating a new post on this, I will bring this one back to life

Does anyone know where I can get a silicon, plastic see through case for my blackberry?

I don't know whether to get a flip leather case... beause it will protect my keys and screen.

Or a snug case that covers the back and sides (like a rubber one) with seperate screen protector. But then it still leaves the grooves in the keypad open to collecting dust (which it looks like the Pearl 8120 does quite easily).

Any other recomendations?

Thanks,
Amnesia

i have the Seidio slim clear case with the clip and its great esp if you have the soft reset hardware. I just ordered the new otter case I'll let you know how it turns out.

Wirelessly posted

I have the otterbox for my Pearl which I'm very pleased with. It does make it a little bulky, but with 3 layers of protection its something I can overlook. Full screen and key protector, hard Shell and outer rubber skin. I work for a Security Firm so this was the ideal case for me.
