LA area here. Just did a test send 3 mins ago from my *@att.blackberry.net to my work email and nothing has arrived yet. The only thing work for me at the moment are carrier internet apps like trapster, iheartradio, etc... no BIS, no BES
I have been with Blackberry for over 7 years, but I can see many users going to Driod or IPhone over this lack of service issue and the companies inability to market devices in a timely manner, it is in Day 3 in Europe and Asia and who knows how long in North America
before they correct the problem.
Seems to be just all the 9800 Torch users that are affected getting emails from our BES servers right now. Everyone else is getting and sending just fine.
No email POP3 or IMAP service in Ventura CA, but text and internet working. Battery also draining for no reason with no apps running in background other than BBM. PS: also a torch user
