Nothing out of the ordinary. I can't find a representation of this icon anywhere...

Since no one answering your query (including myself) has seen this icon before, and seeing as your carrier appears to be Nextel, my guess would be that it has something to do with the push-to-talk feature of the Nextel version of the Curve. It is perhaps notification that someone tried to contact you via walkie-talkie.

Just a guess, mind you.

Thanks! I've gotten lots of Alerts since having the phone since Dec and haven't gotten this before. After I saw your post, I had someone DC/chirp me but nothing came up.

I'm stumped!

Here is a thought...go to Manage Internet E-mail>Service Books> Send Serivce Books. You may have had a new Service Book pushed to you by your carrier. Again, a wild guess here....

I appreciate the help. Where is Manage Internet Email? Is that under Options? I don't see that there...

It should be it's own seperate icon on your home screen. Go to your home screen and hit the menu key, then select "Show All" from the sub menu.

It might be under setup. You should see it in that folder. It may be called E-mail settings.

So, It's an icon for Direct Send My Info. Looks like when someone DC's me, it sends their number/info along. Problem solved!
