OK well i dropped my 8310 curve and when i picked it up it still worked. then all of the sudden the screen fades to white. IT stays white until the battery died. I plugged it in and the red light would come on. then the white screen would come on. I let it charge and it would stay white screen for a little while till the battery quickly dies. now i am trying to get it to respond to the computer. is there any chance i can fix this? i am really sad

The screen is broke, the LCD is VERY sensitive. I have broken mine in the past too - dont worry, its easy and surprisingly cheap to fix.

Go to ebay and buy a replacement LCD. When it arrives, go to youtube and type "blackberry curve LCD replace" and the video will walk you through.

I have never done this kind of work before and it took me 5 minutes. Was very easy, plus while I was in there I had a chance to clean all of the dust out of my BB. Good Luck!

i can do that but are you sure if i spend the money on a new screen it will fix it? what happened when yours broke?
