I just want a short beep for a text message. Maybe a longer tone or beep when the phone rings. I want unobtrusive tones that are not songs at all. I want to be boring. Is this possible? I would also love to be able to use them on my Windows Mobile phone since use it more than the Blackberry.

Do a google search for Blackberry midi tones. I've found a few that I use.

Thank you for the links. The first one is perfect for new emails. I will also do that search for midis.
