I dont seem to be able to get around of the BB finding the files which I sync to it using windows media player.
I have set the Pearl to mass storage mode so the Windows media player can detect it and then configured it to sync, however Media player insists on putting the music in a new folder on the Pearl which doesnt seem to be a location where the Pearl can then see it.....have you come across the same problem?....I have tried creating shorcuts etc but media player just dumps the files on the media card in a new folder called Music and the Pearl insists on only looking on the media card in the 'Blacberry' folder for the 'music' folder......any ideas???
I think the Music folder is a subfolder of the Blackberry folder along with Pictures, Video, and Ringtones. When I open my card in Windows it shows Blackberry, then opens up the 4.
Yes mine does to, that bits ok, however there doesnt seem to be away to tell windows media to put the music in the existing music folder, within the Blackberry folder you mention. Therefore to my mind i either have to work out a way to get windows media to access this folder (which i have tried and drawn a complete blank on) or get the BB to see he Music folder media player dumps on the card next to the Blackberry folder you mention...umm...you see my dilema!
Why don't you just use the Desktop Manager ( BB program) via the USB cord to transfer your media to the desired folder on the Pearl or just insert your mem card in your laptop / desktop ..... easiest way to achieve what you want to do.
