the letter i button does not have the dot in lowercase in sms, email and contacts but does in the email details in contact input. works for all other purposes

any ideas, why in all uses it does not work with the exception of inputting email address details into contacts. The capital I works the - symbol works the i has no dot???? and when I sms it puts a ?

What dot are u refering too? The one on top of the "i"?

What is your text input language set to?
