OK, so as much as I'm loving my new phone, I THINK I may have detected a small software fault already.

Basically, when I receive a new text, I get a red asterisk on both the Messages Folder and the SMS folder. These are the first two folders from left to right on the home screen, the shortcut bar I assume (sorry, not the biggest techie going, but I will get there!)

Whether I go to the new text through the messages folder, or the SMS folder, after reading it and returning to the homescreen, the two red asterisks are still there. The only way to get rid of them at the moment is by going into each folder, then coming back out - only then does it clear itself.

Surely this can't be right?

Any help / feedback appreciated!

go to messages - general options - scroll down theres is a an option to choose if you want to leave SMS and messages combined or not. I leave everything combined into one message folder and hide the SMS icon

Thanks for the response. I've just been into that menu and can't seem to see any option not to combine the two, unless I'm just being a dick.

How is it worded on your menu mate?

I've tried a few things now like turning notifications on and off, but still can't find this option mentioned above. :(
