ok, i have the Blackberry Curve 8520.

does it require a media card to be able to record and play videos?



when i first got the phone when trying to access the video camera the phone displayed a message to 'insert a media card'.


i already have a 4gb micro sd card in the phone, do i have to activate the mass storage mode before being able to use all media functions on the phone?

Yes because the 8520 does not have onboard memory, therefore, it needs a memory card to save the videos.

No -- Mass Storage Mode just makes the media card appear as a removable drive on your PC when the BB is connected via USB.
