Ok. Where do I start.....
I'll go in steps follow accordingly:
Step 1: Does your PC make a noise when you connect the BB to the PC?
If so, then go to Start on your PC, Control Panel, On the left side click on Switch to classic view (If you don't see it look for Windows Firewall) Disable the firewall and try to reconnect the phone.
If not, remove the BB desktop manager and install the latest 4.3 again.
Step 2: If above processes don't work turn off your phone, take out battery, with the battery out connect to PC and open up DM. Try to detect your phone. You have to go to Options-Connection Settings. Connection should be USB and then hit DETECT. If it finds your device hit ok and place battery back in while its connected. Let it boot up and see if that helps.
Step 3: If that doesn't work try to duplicate the problem on another PC to see if you have the same issue. My brain is fried today from helping other people out with their issues I'll come back to this in a bit see how you are doing. (I work for BB support at&t)
