I seemed to be lurking in the shadows here, reading posts and getting answers, and never getting a chance to say "Hi". Or most importantly "thanks". I think I may of posted once but i don't remember. Oh by the way, i just thought of a question. Typically how long is it between software upgrades? My carrier only offers a 4.1.something when I bought my pearl 8100, but thanks to you all i am running 4.5. Just curious.

It should take a while. Upgrades go through a lot of thorough testing in the beta phases and even when it's available for official release, each mobile company may tweak and play around with different things to make it more suitable for their own users.

Seems like it's around a year or so for major changes. Maybe a little less for tweaks and bug fixes.
