Sorry - Handheld OS 4.5 is a beta product.

If you have something that doesn't work with it, then I suggest you download handheld OS v4.2 for the 8100 and install that.

its a beta OS and some 3rd party apps dont work with it.

According to the company, it only supports BlackBerry OS 4.1 or 4.2+.

Nobody supports OS 4.5 yet. Not RIM, not the carriers and certainly not 3rd party app developers.

Posts like this are great for information for everyone and to see if others are experiencing the same issue and if anyone has any workarounds. However, no developers are going to rewrite their apps for beta software.

I used it BB Task Pro with my 8800 with 4.5.09 for a couple of weeks and it worked fine. I'm back on 4.2 again (phone signal problems were too large to offset the cool features). You should be able to get it to work.

i would try uninstalling the app with the desktop manager then install it agian with the desktop manager... that may help

How did you install BBTask pro? desktop manager or OTA? Was there anything specific that you did to make it work?

I can't remember how I initially installed it. But when I did the ROM upgrade I transferred the applications and the program moved over just fine. I add to re-enter the registration code, but otherwise it worked perfectly fine.

It is rubbish

I am using TaskMaster on my OS 4.5 Curve. But I read some time ago that it is now even compatible with OS 4.7 on the Storm
