Start with a hard reset (battery pull while the device is on). Try changing the alert tune and test.

First I suggest you pull the battery to reboot the BlackBerry. Also I would not use the scheduled off and on times. just leave the phone on and over night choose the quiet profile.

Wait... you are using calendar as opposed to the native Alarm? Why not just use the alarm???

I guess we should start over:

Are you using the alarm application or are you just putting in calendar entries for you to be alerted of?

As for the On / Off, In Auto on / off you can choose disable on weekday and weekend which turns the feature off.

Ok great. Like we stated above do a battery pull and disable the Auto On / Off. Even with the phone on Quiet the Alarm will still go off.

then choose Disable on Weekdays and Weekends.

This has been happening to me too!! I've had my phone since November with no alarm problems. Then all of a sudden in the last week or so, it's stopped working in the morning. Not good, since it's made me late several times! I'll try leaving it on all night now, but that's irritating because it was working fine before.

Did anyone figure out how to fix this? I'm having the same problem. It just started happening to me this week.

I have had this happen once in the past. Took me a couple mornings (late to wake up) to realize my alarm wasn't going off, rather than myself just sleeping through it. A battery pull solved the issue, as suggested above.

I have tried a battery pull numerous times but still nothing. It did work on saturday morning, just not during the week.

I turned off the "auto off/on" feature as recommended and put the phone on quiet for overnight...so the alarm has been working fine now. Would be nice if the auto on feature actually worked properly...but I won't complain...as at least I'm able to wake up in time for work now!!

my alarm was activating but not making any sound. i leave my phone on all the time. i would wake up and the option to dismiss the alarm is active and the phone is lit up but no audible alarm. i have a sound activated and turned up but no luck. just started a few days ago. i just tried a battery pull and tested on a new time and it worked. hope it works tomorrow, running late is no fun!

The exact same thing has been happening to me. My Curve is not even a month old yet and this has been happening over the last 3-4days. I tested the alarm during the day and I managed to get it to work. But when I need it to go off at 6:30AM there is no sound ..only the screen flashes with the dimiss or snooze option. I will try it again tonight to see if this happens again in the morning. Otherwise a battery pull it will have to be!! Does pulling the battery out damage the device? or the life of the battery?

this same thing has happened to me twice now. I've noticed that if you try to change a tone you won't hear anything as you scroll through the choices. Same for trying to change the ring tone. Shut the BB off then back on and everything works fine. BTW I did have mine plugged into the charger overnight...would this have anything to do with it?
