Default why am i losing my emails when I have enough internal memory in my BB?!

Please Login to Remove!

Hello guys

I just upgraded my 8310 from OS 4.2 to OS 4.5.0.110 and profit also quite double the internal memory, from about 11 MB to 20 MB. I have a 2GB SD card for my media files, but now I am losing some of my e-mails, sometimes during the same day. Although I usually don’t keep a lot from them (about 5-10 emails) now I am ending up with 1 or 2 or sometimes nothing.
Any idea why this is happening, while I am reading that if the internal memory is more than 15 MB this should not happen?

Thank you

What is your File Free (under Options -> Status)?

If you have any device memory, perhaps this could be the culprit:

Email messages are deleted from the BlackBerry smartphone

I was wondering, do you reset your phone often?

Yes, lately I have pulled out the battery quite every day because after upgrading my OS, I am facing this problem of losing e-mails, so I pull out the battery to improve the internal memory and maybe resolve the problem. As I mentioned I have about 20 Mb file free, so I don’t understand why this is not enough to keep my e-mails (actually I can keep only 4-5 emails).
Is the device/internal memory divided in different portions, and if yes, where can I see how much memory available do I have for my e-mails?

Thanks
