Hi There,
I googled for application "Call Recording" for Blackberry 8120 Pearl, but left with no luck... Everybody are saying.... that it is due to a legal issue...... Ok...
But I still have a small hope that it is exist or it is in beta........
If you know ny kinda application please help me........ ( my country of residence is India and I dont bother about Legal Issues of Recording a Call.).........
Help would be appreciated....... Thank you...................
Desparado...............
Would anyone be willing to help me learn RIM programming/point me towards a guide? I have messed with the RAZR and Android systems in the past...if it's mostly java based, I'd be willing to help co-develop a version for the 8100 in parallel for the 8120 as I "recently" acquired one when my GF got the myTouch3G.
I know I'm a newbie here, so most won't take me seriously (as with ANY interwebz forum); but if people can't accept that I am 100% willing to help, especially if it benefits me in some way, then they can go troll (there's always one...) somewhere else.
It helps that I just started working for a 3rd party retailer for T-mob, etc; so if you're willing to give me a chance, I would totally be down. I'm sure if it's java based, I can take a look at the recording program on the Android system as I've already skimmed the source code with my GTUG group.

Reason: grammer
Wuzzer, why not check out the Developer section of this forum? And the RIM/BlackBerry Java Developer section, they have a whole team devoted to users/developers like you.
On topic, as you can probably already tell, I have already tried where you have mentioned to no avail. I was hoping for a 3rd party website for someone who is willing to give me a few pointers. I'm sure it can't be too much different from programming on a V3, myTouch3G right?? (Forgive my lack of knowledge, I just got into the BB modding world. I wasted 2 years studying Computer Science at UCIrvine only to come back to a CC and take up automotive engineering.)

Yes, I understand that...sorry I wasn't clearer. What I meant was a step by step kind of guide similar to this V3 modding website I started my modding "career?" with.

Ok, I figured as much. Thanks. Will get back to this when I'm more experienced. Only phone nowadays that's truly open source is probably the Android based ones. I can see Google becoming SkyNet in about a decade lol...
