Hi all!!! I've bought BB 8820 on ebay. The phone is originally came from AT&T and it's unlocked for now for any carrier. I would like to update phones' software from 4.2 to 4.5.
1 - I don't know if it's still will be unlocked.
2 - Is it really necessary to update if its work fine for now.

1 - once unlocked, always unlocked. Updating the software will not lock it
2 - if it isn't broke, don't fix it.

When I tried to install some software it doesn't fitted to my software version, may this is a problem?
