My blackberry Curve 8310 is showing an unread message, however all messages are opened and read. I have already deleted all messages as well as deleted the email account and re-added it. The device still shows one unread mail message.

Any ideas?

First thing to do is a battery pull. Remove battery while device is on, then put battery back in after 20 seconds. If that doesn't help, it could be a Saved message.

In the list of email, press the Menu button and then Search.
On the Search screen, change the 'Show' field to 'Saved Only'
Press Menu button and click Search

Do you find any messages?

Well after figuring out how to take off the hard case I have on it, pulling the battery did the trick! Thanks!
