Hi there,
I have the pearl 8130 for 1 month. As of yesterday, when I try to launch anything, it is super slow. The hourglass icon is always on the screen..........sometime it's still on the screen even when I am not launching anything.

When I place a call, it seem as though I am using the speakerphone, but I am not.

The call log history is no longer there........i mean the icon is on the home screen but all the history call is not there.

Could someone please help/

I think it would be helpful to know what OS you have, what 3rd party apps you have, what your carrier is etc. Any info like this would help get an answer.

OS is the operating system. If you go into options and then to ABOUT it will tell you what version of the OS you are using. It will appear as something like 4.2. 011.42. These numbers are fictitious but hopefully you will see something that looks like that.

Did you load any extra apps on you BB? Did you buy ith from Telus or get it second hand?

Do you have any extra themes added that didn't come with the BB?

Have you tried a battery pull to see if that helps?

Sometimes opening the back and taking the battery out while the phone is on, counting to 10 and putting it back can clear up many issues.

Also go into options and then to status to see how much free memory you have. Low memory can cause issues as well.

There are many threads and posts that can walk you through how to free up memory or check your BB for some known issues.
