Default Registering Device

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

My brother gave me a BB Pearl 8120 that was originally locked to O2. I had it unlocked yesterday as I want it to work on Orange. I obviously I want to run my email and BBM on it. When I try to set it up and create a new Blackberry account so I can load my email address it tells me I need to register the device buy going to "Host Routing Table" and sending the registration message. I have done this but nothing has come back and nothing seems to work.

Could someone please explain how I may be able to remedy this.

Thanks

You need a Blackberry data plan from Orange.

If your "unlimited plan" is not a "blackberry data plan" then the answer is no, they are not the same.

This has been brought up many times, use the red search button above or in my sig and put "data plan" into the search field and see how many results you get on this topic.

Also, see these links to the FAQ's:

You also have to log into the O2 BIS page and enter the new device's PIN and IMEI to get your BlackBerry Data Plan (once you have one) associated with the new device.
