If this 6 gig plan is specifically for Blackberry then yes you will get email, if it isn't then you won't I am afraid.

I am not a Fido customer so am not aware of what they offer. If I were you I would speak to them and find out if this plan is compatible with Blackberry or not and if not then ask them what data plans they have available for Blackberry.
