Thats like saying a grocery store will stop selling apples bc a new brand of oranges came out - literally.

What does Android have to do with BlackBerry OS certification / testing ?

Well, that's a good point, but you're asking the wrong guy here: I don't work for T Mobile. All I meant was with all the publicity surrounding the release of new phone, their developers will probably not be devoting too much time to whether or when to release a new OS for their BBs. Is that clearer?

From what I understand (most) telco's have certification teams aligned with device families - one for BB, one for Palm etc...

I guess you're suggesting that the new Android HTC device might have warranted the creation of a new team, which might have "borrowed" from the resources that would have certified the new BB OS - I get what you're saying now.
