Default Unlocked Verizon 9530 - Int CDMA Networks?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I have an unlocked Verizon 9530 and i am able to use any SIM card to log on to GSM carriers.

I was wondering is it possible to provision the phone to be able to work on an international CDMA based network. If yes, what all information would be required to do so? Can RUIM cards be put in the SIM slot?

Thank you!

More like network issues... as in, an international CDMA network doesn't really exist.

Outside of the USA & S. Korea, CDMA is rarely used.

CDMA widely used in Canada! Telus, Bell, SaskTel, Virgin (last 2 quite small)

The short answer is "no."

The Storm is "locked" to Verizon for CDMA service.
