Default memory card

I see the included card is a microSD but what is the largest capacity the 8900 can handle? I am not at all fluent in memory card options, so please excuse this question - is there a "faster" memory card that can be used within the "microSD" size of card?

Thanks

I believe 32GB is the largest card the OS will recognize, and 16GB is the largest card available.

Micro SDHC cards have a number rating. They are 2, 4, and 6, and represent the minimum speed (in Mbps) they are able to sustain. Burst rates for cards are often much higher than thier speed ratings.

The BlackberryFAQ is your friend. One of the topics covered is "What type and size Media card can I use in my device?"

Thank you. Also special thanks for the speed rating lesson. I wasn't aware of this. Thanks

Thank you also. I didn't even think about checking the FAQ since this is a new device...it didn't dawn on me that its a new device but OS 4.6X is not. Thanks again
