I have 2 email accounts set up on my 8330 Curve. One is my work email which is a POP3 and the other is my Gmail account. Both were set up on the internet website. On my Gmail account I have 3 options when deleting - Delete on mailbox & handheld, Delete on handheld, and Cancel. On my work POP3 account I only have 2 choices - Delete, and Cancel.

First, what does just the delete mean? Will it delete from the POP3 server?

Second, how do I get 3 choices?

Go to the Email Options on the device.

Messages > Menu Button > Options > Email Reconciliation.

Select the email address you wish to edit and change the "Delete On" setting to your choice.

Mailbox & Handheld means that it will get deleted on the device and on the server.
Handheld means on the device only.
Prompt means you will be given the choice with each deletion.

I'm not sure if it's related to POP. Go into your message folder and hit Menu>Options>Email Reconcilliation>(under message Services toggle between the two accounts) is Delete On: PROMPT for both accounts?
