When I first purchased the Storm2 and plugged into the Jack I noticed it does not go all the way in and moves around fairly easy, but it worked so I assumed it was part of the design.

However now when I plug in the jack and play music I get a crackling noise and the sound jumps from one side of my car to the other.. If I pick the BlackBerry and move the AUX cable the sound sounds as it's suppose to, however the sound quality quickly declines..

Has anyone else seen this?? (This is a major deal breaker for me)

Get a new cable. They all wear out and pretty quickly too.

True, I suppose I will give that shot. (My 8330 never had that problem)

I found that if I disable the Audio Boost it sounds better.

After comparing my 8330 to my 9550, using the same cable.. It's the jack on the 9550 that is messed up.. Because my 8330 plays fine.

However I do have note the 9550 has big improvement in sounds quality over the 8330.
