Default Storm 2 Battery Issues

Please Login to Remove!

So I fully charged my storm 2 last night and unplugged it at 11:00 pm. I pressed the lock button but left the device on. This morning at 6:00 am I have 20% battery left. Even if I have on wifi, or bluetooth or whatever, isn't that considered "standby" I used to leave my curve in standby all night and my phone was well charged the next day. Also, I can't seem to get through a full day even with turning my screen brightness to 10%, turning off wifi, and making some other changes. Thanks for your help.

The lock button, locks the device.
To put it into standby, you need to hold down the MUTE button.

I guess I meant I was pressing the power button on the top left. Holding down the mute button on the top right doesn't do anything. Thanks

Strange.
MUTE button has always put devices into standby.

I called verizon and they are just going to replace the phone since it's under thirty days and they said they couldn't determine if it was a phone or battery issue. There's just no way the phone should have run down that fast.
