Just got a Storm 2 with 5.0.0.320 and I notice that the caller's volume quality is not very good - the voice sounds like its muffled and at times I get a high sounding voice note (of the caller) that my ATT Bold never had.
Has anyone experienced any of these attributes with their S2?
The one thing I loved about all 5 storms I've had is the call quality, earpiece, speaker phone quality is all excellent. I've also made calls from storms in the stores, and they all were fine also.
I've noticed that most people I talk to with blackberries get in the habit of holding the phone straight up and down instead of holding the bottom out near their mouth. I've asked people to talk into the mic on their phone and they sound very clear. Just a thought. Also someone that I talk to often that has an iphone always sounded muffled until the other day she sounded crystal clear. Turns out she has been using a bluetooth headset that didn't work great. Once she used the handset she sounded very clear
I am referring to the handset (device earpiece) and not blue tooth - My Storm 2 sounds muffled and a little distorted when people talk to me. It's not that it sounds low but it definitely sounds "distorted".
What a drag to have to exchange now that I transferred all my PIN and apps from the Bold!
I was hoping not to do that.
Incidentally what are people setting phone audio to under phone options? I see there is bass boost, etc
