BBM, Conversation sorted by activity but some old conversation go up for no reason?

Hello.
I have a blackberry storm
and my coversations are sorted by activity
but sometimes, some old conversation go up and become the first one even though there are no recent activity.
why is it doing that?
I'm afraid the person is probably sending something that I'am not receiving and so it is going up??
Please Help.
