Do i need to pay for a data service do be able to acess the web via WIFI? Because that seems to be the case and it doesnt make any sense.

Can you explain me what is the blackberry browser, and/or the blackberry service?

And for the blackberry appworld? do i need a service plan even if i connect bie WIFI?

Blackberry App World REQUIRES a blackberry data plan to work.
There is no way around this.
It will not work via wi-fi without a data plan.

Try it. Enable wi-fi and try to browse.

The blackberry browser is a browser. Thats it.

Blackberry service is what allows you to get push email, and access to apps like Blackberry maps, app world, facebook etc. as well as browsing via the mobile network.

And you need the BB data plan to get and use the BB browser since it also connects to RIM.
