Hi All,

I have had a "app error 523" on my Bold 9000 for a day.
Eventually I managed to do an update which made my BB work again but no contacts or messages are visible anymore. Pictures, Video's and emailsettings are still there.
Also did restore the backup but this one also seems to be empty, probably due to the "app error 523" problem.

Can please anyone help me restoring my contactlist and messages ?

a backup is the only way.
If you restored your only backup and there was nothing on it, you can't do anything.
If you have an older backup, try restoring that.
