Hi everyone really need help!!!!my friend's blackberry doesn't start up anymore!the thing is that when he tries to start it, nothing happens if he plugs it,the red light appears and the phone start to boot and stop after 5 seconds.we tried to switch batteries it doing the same thing...we really don't know what to do anymore!!!plis guys if u can!help!!!thanks

What happened just before this event? Did he drop it or get it wet?

Has the battery been allowed to get below 20% on a regular basis?

Is the device detected by Desktop Manager?

Yeah it is detected by the bb desktop manager but the problem is that the fone doesn't even start so we can't get in!!we even changed the batterie nothing aheppen!!the fone is just off!!nothing before it acted like that hapened...still doing the same thing!!he just has it for 3 moths...don't understand!!sometime blackbery just xxxx up hey!!!

What model? Since recognized by desktop manager, try backup all your files, you can do this using BBSAK (PM me and I'll give u directions), then wipe and reinstall the OS... If u need steps on how to achieve this, email me. . Hope this helps
