Default Keypad light stopped working

Please Login to Remove!

I'm on 4.2.1.101 and noticed that my keypad backlight stopped working. All other lights seem to be fine, and when I pull the battery, the keypad lights up during boot, but after boot, it doesn't work anymore. I haven't found any other posts with the same problem. I had Color Pearl installed but removed it to see if that was a possible problem. Is this a version problem possibly?

Take the device into a darker room and see if the lights come on. They are controlled by a light sensor next to the led on the top right of the display.

They don't come on in darker rooms.

What if you place your finger over the led on the upper right corner? Still nothing?

You've completely removed the ColorPearl program? If so, then you may have another problem. Might have to reload the OS in order to get it back. I've not heard of this problem before.

TMO has 42.1.107 out now and I was on 103 so I'll give that a try.
