From what I gather.

When you have UMA on your blackberry, all network connections go over wifi.

Don't believe me? turn off your mobile network and bluetooth and just keep the wifi on. Try facebook or any other app.

If you find your WIFI symbol is on, but you have EDGE, that means your data connection is "wified" and your voice is still on the "mobile network"

I've got it working fine over wifi. Why wouldnt it? You can set the application permissions when you install it to do so.

But they don't work...I tried it in a lecture hall where I had no signal (for edge anyways....and I had my radio turned off but with the wifi radio on and connected) and nothing.

I've got google set to all permissions and no luck. Blackberry feature enabler added to my account too... :|
