Unhappy Help! Router problems when connected to UMA and company VPN

Please Login to Remove!

Has anyone had problems with thier router slowing down or VPN disconnecting while using UMA?

I am using a Linksys WRT54GS router (latest firmware),Blackberry 8320, Laptop VPN is Nortel Networks.

I have found that at times when I am connected to T-Mobile UMA, theVPN I use on my laptop for work disconnects and my home CPU starts having internet problems. I don't have the problem when I change to EDGE. I have reboot the router for the problem to go away. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I would like to be able to run both at the same time

I had the same problem so I put it on my spare Linksys router. After that my phone would shut down, not the router. WPA security really caused problems for my phone.

I did manage to get it seeming to work fine on the Actiontec after I did a "Wipe handheld" and then restored my data. After that I tried a 25 minute call on it on a bluetooth headest and using WPA2 security and it was fine. Plus a couple other short calls. I'm on OS4.2.2.180. Can't remember if I got the router re-boot problem on this or .175. It didn't happen on .171, but then it also had a hard time sticking with one router.
