So i've been using my 8830 and decided to switch up to something smaller and less bulky, naturally i went with the 8130 now my question is that, my reception has gotten worst ? is this possible, before in my down town loft with my 8830 i can easily talk on the phone, as with my 8130 i have limited reception and cannot hold a decent conversation which irritates me...so my question is that, is it true that the 8830 offers better reception than the 8130 ?

I have both and don't experience a difference.

My company supports both the 8130 and the 8830 and we have not seen a difference in reception between the two types.

I actually experienced an INCREASE in reception when I did the exact same switch with Verizon. I get way better phone reception with my Pearl than I ever did with the World Phone. Perhaps its a device issue?
