I have a ton of movies and CD's on my 2g MicroSD card from my Pearl.

First off, will my SD card fit in the 7100g? Does the 7100 support the same media as the Pearl?

7100 doesn't have any media card slot.
It won't work at all.

^^ditto, you won't be able to load music and movies to the 7100 at all.

I would hold out for the 8120 or 8130.
