I'm wondering if there's a way to temporarily stop receiving emails from my work email while I'm on vacation short of deleting that email account from my BB?

you can turn the data services off and just leave the voice services. or you can set up a filter to only allow emails sent from yourself (in which case all others will be blocked)

to turn off the data services its under mobile network under options. to set up a filter you have to log into your BIS site (if you are on a BIS) which is BlackBerry Internet Service and set up the filter there.

Turn off email notification in your Profiles, and don't look at your work email folder. That's what I do.

If you are using BIS then just login to the website and uncheck "Forward to Handheld". Warning, when you re-check it only current email will be send (Not email received during the period that you had it disabled).

Is there a way to keep sms messages on and leave email off, or are they both linked together under data services?
