Default Phone Doesn't Ring

Please Login to Remove!

For some reason my phone does not ring right away. I have the profile set to Normal and set to Vibrate+Tone. When someone calls the phone vibrates for awhile, then it maybe rings two times before my voice mail picks up. The problem is if my phone is not in my pocket I have no way to know if it is ringing until the last couple of seconds - so I have to make a mad dash to get it before voice mail picks up.

How can I get this thing to ring and vibrate at the same time? Or, do I have to turn vibrate off completely?

Thanks

The phone will always vibrate twice before ringing. It won't vibe and ring at the same time. If it's not enough time then call TMobile and have them increase the ringtime before going to voicemail. They can set it to 30 seconds max.

You you say "always", do you mean even if I have vibrate turned off? Maybe I'll check that now. It's good to know that tmobile can change the number of rings - I had no clue.

Thanks

You can turn off vibrate and have it ring only. However, when on vibe+ring it will always vibe first then ring. It's just how the BB works.

Damn, I wish it was the other way around. The only reason I even use vibrate is in case I am in an environment to loud to hear the ring. In which case I probably wouldn't answer anyway, I would just want to know I got a call to see if it is important.
