I have a new pearl 8110. Does anyone know of a calendar that will sync with the phone that does not require me having a media package? I switched from the palm phones, which I loved because of the hot sync option and calendars created by palm. Does this pone have a similar function. If not I may be trading this in soon for a centro.

You can sync with Outlook. Which by the way works great.

I am trying to find something that does not require me buying anything more than what I have (i.e. a media package or outlook). That is one of the main reasons i am thinking of going back to palm, the desktop software has its own calendar designed for the device free with the phone. I use the PDA function too much to have a phone where it seems to be secondary to other less needed functions. However, i do like the BB and if I can find such a calendar then I may keep it. You don't need anything else on the BB but you do need a calendar on your computer. Usually Outlook or something like that is on your computer already so you should not have to buy anything else, Desktop manager comes with the BB software that came with you BB

I can't get Outlook to even be an option for me - it's just that importer and Yahoo - NO Outlook. How do I fix that problem?

I sync my calendar with google calendar using google sync. Its 2 way sync and OTA.
