Default Backup and Restore or Switch Device Wizard?

Please Login to Remove!

SO before my replacement curve comes, all i have to do to transfer everything to the new one is to backup the original and restore it on the new one? or do i run the switch device wizard? Thanks in advance for the feedback

both berry's? well i'll only be able to access one at a time because when they do a warranty replacement they only send the phone-no back cover, no battery, so i'll only have that one battery.

Then just do a back up of the device and then a restore once you get the new one.

So if you don't have both, you will want to do a backup on one, and restore to the new.

I would also recommend you do the separate back of third-party applilcations, see the special Sticky Note with John Clark's instructions in our RIM Software section.

Doing both of those will keep you safe. If you sync your data to Outlook, that could be a third fail safe measure.
