I'm such a rookie that I didn't know how to move this message from the General Discussion Forum to here so I had to copy it over.

I have a Curve 8310 running on BES. I currently have folder redirection enabled for my Inbox and my Sent Items. I have "Hide Filed Messages" and "Hide Sent Messages" set to "yes."

When I access my messages screen I get a weird combination that includes all of my Inbox messages and some of the messages in my Sent Items folder. The messages from my Sent Items are displayed with a little open envelope to the left of them, just like opened Inbox messages, and they state that they are from me as opposed to showing to who they were sent. They are not necessarily messages that were sent from my Blackberry, but from Outlook.

When I access my messages I would like to only see the items in my Inbox and not these random Sent messages. I can achieve this by selecting View Folder and then selecting Inbox, but I don't want to do that every time.

How do I make my Inbox (and Inbox only) the default folder to view?

I already have my hide sent messages set to yes. The strange part is that it doesn't show all of my sent messages, just certain ones. I can't seem to find a correlation between the ones that it chooses to display.
