Hey all -- I am still trying to get used to my Pearl. Last night I was at dinner and noticed by buddy's 8100 (I think, or maybe 8120) list or words that shows up when typing was layed out horizontally, rather than than vertically, like on my 8130.

Is this a customizable option/preference or is it just due to the model? If so, how can I change it?

I noticed when I upgraded to 4.5 OS that the way that wordlist was displayed had changed.

4.2 was horizontal, 4.5 is vertical...

4.5 can have horizontal. Turn off "predictive text" and it will be just as it was in 4.2. I can't stand predictive text, but love suretype.

That should read "predictive input", and it is found in options, language, input options.
