Here's the story, my company for some silly reason does not allow IT staff to be their BES. Installing 3rd party software including Blackberry Desktop Manager isn't allowed either. That means having to manually enter everything on both my Outlook calendar and on the Blackberry.

So I figured out I could forward invitations to my GMail account I have configure on the Blackberry, and I can accept them there and they go into my Blackberry calendar. Only one little problem, the meeting organizer gets back a response "me@gmail.com has accepted...". DOH! Is there any way accept an invitation without this email being sent?

No, that is automatic and part of the system. There's no way to turn that off.
