Smile Checking PRL on the Verizon BB Storm

Please Login to Remove!

How do you check the PRL on the Verizon Blackberry Storm.

On the Verizon Curve, you would dial #4357* and press Enter.

You could also do Alt H

None of these options work on the Storm.

Also .. does anyone have any idea when Verizon will release an update beyond .75?

#4357* works.

You can download .85 direct from RIM if you go to their website and "update handheld" with it attached to the PC.

#4357* does absolutely nothing. do you have a storm? or are you just assuming it works?

is it safe to use the .85 from RIM, or is it better to wait for the Verizon sanctioned version?

I was suprised to see it from RIM. It may be "officially" released by them, just not by Verizon. Do so at your own risk.

do a backup, and try it out. you have to decide for yourself. everyones opinions are different around here. .85 has been working perfectly for me since it came out and is the best OS yet. others claim its terrible. if you dont like it, go back to your previous os.
